Construction Update

The development team have been working full steam across the Waterline Place precinct constructing three townhome collections and putting the final touches on our largest and final apartment building – Merchant in recent months.

The Piper Townhomes

Now complete, all but two homes are occupied. Please make the new Piper (Waterline Place) residents welcome.

With the help of Guest Group home styling, we recently furnished the available Piper townhomes at 5B Nelson Place.

Firefly Townhomes

Construction has really started to move now, and we’ve hit a good pace with the Firefly Townhomes. It is anticipated that our five new couples will be able to move in October this year.

Merchant Apartments and Townhomes

The Merchant building is in its final stages of construction and completion is expected June with first settlement anticipated from mid-2024.

  • The ground floor external and rooftop landscaping works are in progress for completion in mid-2024.
  • The internal fit-out works in the apartments and townhouses are also well-progressed and on-track for completion in mid-2024.
  • We are also excited to announce that a grocery retail operator has secured a lease for part of the ground floor retail tenancy. The town planning permit application process is in progress to enable commencement of the retail tenancy internal fit-out works.

As always with construction, progress of works is subject to weather conditions, authority approvals and unforeseen impacts however, we will continue to keep everyone informed on a regular basis. Please continue to check the Waterline Place website for regular updates.

AVJennings and Waterline Place are once again proud sponsors of the Williamstown Literature Festival – for the 5th year running! This year’s event was officially launched on Friday 20th May. Affectionately known by locals as the Willy Lit Fest, the festival brings together readers, writers and book creatives of all sorts for an annual celebration of storytelling, author talks, panel discussions and writing workshops.

This year we are specifically sponsoring the session ‘Coveting Other Peoples Houses’ which will investigate our fascination with looking inside other people’s homes and sponsoring the prizes for the Ada Williams Writers Awards.
